This tiny little moth will leave you saying aww whilst questioning the world around you thanks to it’s alien like looks. The mysterious moth has been going viral on the internet due to its resemblance to a Pokémon or other alien like creatures and characters.
Despite its looks though this little guy isn’t from another world, he was first discovered in 2009 by zoologist Arthur Anker of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, with this photo that was shared around the internet. The bizarre looking creature has been nicknamed the Venezuelan Poodle Moth and is thought to belong to the lepidopteran genus Artace.
The moth is so mysterious that it has only been photographed a handful of times. A closer inspection is needed in order to properly classify it. Check it out in the photos below.
