This futuristic looking sculpture created by Heatherwick Studio is located in England, Essex, and it?s pretty awesome in a sci-fi / Tron kind of way. The installation was built with precision in mind and is supposed to imagine what a luminous pavilion shaped like a cube might look like if built by an aerospace company. Each aluminium pipe projects light that is emitted from the centre of the installation.
The sculpture will be an addition to the grounds of the UK?s National Malus Collection in Essex. At just 8 feet in each dimension this small ?sitooterie? or cabin to you and me is made entirely from aluminium. The 5000 hollow pins that point outwards let light in during the day and project light out at night.
