As we’ve proved to you time and time again by showcasing incredible confectionary art, cakes don’t have to be boring. In fact, it turns out that cakes don’t even have to look like cakes at all. Still, never before have we seen cake art that looks so much like other foods and objects, tricking your mind into believing they’re avocados, potatoes, or a bottle of Coca Cola, for example. These incredible cakes created by Ben Cullen, also known as The Bakeking, are something else altogether, and it hardly surprises us that he won gold awards at the Cake International prestigious competition both in 2015 and 2016, and is a regularly featured artist on Channel 4’s ‘Extreme Cake Makers’ TV show.
