Artist Nick Veasey spent 20 years exposing himself to harmful X-Ray radiation all in the name of art. He went above and beyond to expose what lies beneath, and the results are pretty outstanding.
The series these photographs come from is titled ?X-ray Voyeurism? and has been called one of the strangest experiences by art directors in a studio that consists of flashing lights, warning sirens and lead doors.
We all make assumptions based on the external visual aspects of what surrounds us ? I like to challenge this automatic way that we react to just physical appearance by highlighting the, often surprising, inner beauty.
All of the items seen in the images are X-rayed individually and then stitched together in post production.
This is probably the coolest fusion between Art and Science ever.
