For those that frequently fly and even those that don’t, plane journeys can sometimes be pretty miserable. From not being able to move, never being able to get comfy and having to sit in close proximity to complete strangers, unless you’re lucky enough to travel in first class the struggle is real.
To quite literally illustrate that struggle, illustrator Christoph Niemann recently decided to document his flight from New York to Berlin in the funny drawings below. From the initial battle for the arm rest to the struggle of not being able to find a comfy position, despite purchasing a neck cushion, Niemann’s illustrations perfectly sum up the universal struggles of flying.
