Believe it or not, there was a time before we all had quick and easy access to any piece of information we could ever wish to know. If you’re skeptical of that, go ahead and Google it. Before we could privately (to some extent) type our queries into a search engine, people would have to go to the library to do research. (Remember those?) Some people, however, simply didn’t have time for research, so they’d ask librarians to find out for them. Here are some of the more interesting questions that were posed to the New York Public Library.
