Photographer Jakub Polomski recently travelled to Argentina where he found himself stood in front of one of the most beautiful and spectacular glaciers in the world, the Perito Moreno. The glacier is around 19 miles long and is unique not only because of its colossal size but because it is still growing.
Bad weather conditions can sometimes make photographing the glacier a challenge however Polomski was fortunate enough to have great weather, and has managed to capture the glacier in these incredible photographs. The glacier also breaks up from time to time causing small blocks of ice to fall into the water below, some are larger than others. In this sequence of photos Polomski captures quite a large rupture and the result is awesome.
