Whilst others were indoors keeping warm during Winter Storm Jonas last Saturday morning, photographer Michele Palazzo decided to head out on the streets of NYC with hopes that he would capture a truly unique shot. After coming across New York City’s Flatiron Building Palazzo pointed his camera at the building and snapped some photos and at that very moment the wind picked up and the snow swirled in the wind as it flew down the street, mimicking the brush strokes you’d normally find in an impressionist painting.

Palazzo then edited the photos in the popular photo editing app VSCO Cam and the results are beautiful. Through the action and drama captured in these photos one thing still shines through, the beautiful hand crafted decorations in the shop window which have now been identified as the work of artist Chelsea Hrynick Browne.
