We’re all guilty of losing pens, but have you ever wondered where all of those lost, discarded and old pens end up? artist Ray Cicin may have the answer in the form of this incredible giant octopus created from nothing more than discarded ballpoint pens.
Inspired by German naturalist Ernst Haeckel the piece is part of an ongoing series titled Deep Blue. Under closer inspection you can see the amount of detail that Cicin puts in to each section of the giant artwork which took over a year to complete.
