Some four years ago, Johan Lolos, a Belgian travel photographer, decided it was time to leave Europe and travel the world. Little did he know at the time that his journey would bring him right back to the Old Continent, and lead him to travel some 40,000 kilometers through it in the process. On his epic journey, he photographed many of Europe’s greatest peaks. He visited no less than 17 European countries on the way and shot a staggering 30,000 photographs. The images you’re about to see below are some of the highlights:
1. Augstmatthorn, Switzerland
2. Lago di Braies, South Tyrol, Italy
3. Seceda, South Tyrol, Italy
4. Landmannalaugar, Iceland
5. Old Man of Storr, Isle of Skye, Scotland
