9. Paro Airport, Bhutan
One of the most challenging airports to land, this runway is situated in a deep valley on the bank of river Paro Chhu , surrounded by with snow capped peaks as high as 5,500 m. Combination of the blue river, hilly terrain, brown tiled houses makes it a beautiful and thrilling approach.
