3. Matekane Air Strip, Lesotho, Africa
One of the world’s scariest runway located at the altitude of 7550 feet, the air strip ends at the edge of a 500m cliff. So instead of flying up, the aircraft dips a little into the valley before ascending again, making this a terrifying and a thrilling takeoff. It is often used by charity organizations to reach remote villages in the area.
