British newspaper Daily Telegraph compiled a list of the most beautiful subway stations in Europe. It’s nice that the 22-uh Metro 5 – Russian 4 metro stations and one – metro station in St. Petersburg.
In the first place there was a metro Toledo in Naples (Italy), which opened recently at Via Toledo – the most important Neapolitan shopping street. On the interior of one of the deepest in the world subway stations worked Spanish architect Oscar Tusquets Blanca (Oscar Tusketts Blanca) and the South African artist William Kentridge (William Kentridge). The walls and ceiling are covered with stations risunkamm light and water, and the amazing mosaic of different colors illuminated the impression of falling snow or diving.
