It’s not often that you see someone taking a cat out on a walk. That’s because cats tend to ignore orders and react unpredictably when in unfamiliar territory. But as we all know, there is an exception to every rule, and there are adventurous cats who remain at their owners’ side no matter what. Meet Daikichi (brown and white tabby) and Fuku-Chan (ginger), two rescue cats from Japan.
Adopted by Daisuke Nagasawa, the cats couldn’t bear being away from their owner, whose job had him traveling across Japan. So Nagasawa decided to take his feline companions with him. Daikichi and Fuku-Chan have been on the road for 8 years now, have visited every one of Japan’s 47 prefectures and have been to many of Japan’s most famous landmarks.
